INDUSTRY UPDATE: What makes PDF the most practical file format

It is not only because of the requirements that I decided to send my application as a PDF file. It is that I find it both practical and aesthetically fit to use PDF files for such purposes – and many others as well, either practical or leisure-bound. But why did I go for a PDF file without having any second thought? Well, because PDF is indeed the most practical file format. It is easy to create PDF files, as well as to read PDF files. As for the final result, my application looks best in a PDF format – better than in any other format by far. Since what I want to express through my application is cleanliness and clarity, transparency and professionalism, PDF format came as the best solution due to the unique and remarkable graphical features that this format enshrines. Not to mention that the very own image of myself on the front page of my CV never looked better than in a PDF file – and with soda I could freely use the PDF editor to reach the optimal results to best serve my cause.

Must I admit that I prefer PDF files even to paper – or especially so. I consider that PDF files have reached that level of compatibility with the highest professional expectations. Any file or book in a PDF format looks better to me than most of the printed versions. Not to mention that PDF format is more practical than any other. There is no limit when it comes to what one can do when using a PDF file compared to the printed version. One can underline, highlight and even take notes. Moreover, all of these actions are reversible at a click – while if you underline on a book, the marks will remain there forever. Not to mention the coffee stains that might always taint your printed version – while the PDF file can stay impeccable and immortal despite the passage of time and the circumstances.

As an additional argument in favor of the use of PDF files, I need to remind you of the fact that environmentally speaking we are at the moment fragile. Millions of trees are being cut daily to produce paper – and I hope that you are not reading this message after having been printed on paper. They are by far the best aesthetically speaking and have the most practical features and applicability.
