Microsoft's Next Update To Xbox One To Roll Out This October

Wednesday, September 10, 2014Microsoft has come up with an update to th
e Xbox One and it is definitely like a work in progress. The system has some excellent sound quality and its next update will add more features and functionality.

The new update will start rolling out this October which double-taps the Guide button on the Xbox One controller. It acts as an awful lot like pressing the Guide button on the Xbox 360 controller does. Options will be provided to bring in your friend list, achievement and messages. The update is also supposed to record video without Kinect voice controls. It means video recording will become easier and time-saving too.

You can save the last 30 seconds of game-video by double-tapping the Guide and then you need to hit the X button. The Xbox One is beating its competition to the media punch again by adding DLNA support so that you can stream videos from your computer to the console, including MKV files. The upcoming lot has some smaller, but not less noteworthy, features. Check out the full details on Larry "Major Nelson" Hyrb's blog post.
